This Medieval palazzo, located in the heart of Siracusa (Island of Ortigia), has been transformed into comfortable accommodation, only metres from the sea.
Impressive stonework, dramatic archways, beamed ceilings and four-poster beds all contribute to this romantic setting. Modern amenities are understated to preserve the integrity of the palace. There is assembly and banquet halls that hold up to 150 people.
Under the palace, you can visit the oldest Miqwè (Jewish ritual bath) in Europe, that dates from the Byzantine era. Guided tours are also offered.

During the summer, breakfast includes typical Sicilian granita (semi-frozen dessert of sugar, water, and flavourings, similar to a sorbet), while in winter freshly squeezed orange juice is offered.
